Littlefield Township Board

The Littlefield Township Board is elected by the people.  The Township Board is made up of five members; Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and two trustees.  The Supervisor chairs the Township Board meetings.

Board members are elected to serve four-year terms in the Presidential Election year.  The Board is responsible for enacting ordinances, allocation and approval of the budget, Township policy and other items authorized by Michigan State Statute.

Township Board meetings are generally held the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Littlefield-Alanson Community Building, 7631 Burr Ave, Alanson, MI.  The meetings are open to the public.

The Township Board is here to serve our residents.  Please be aware that we are not full time elected officials and all maintain  jobs outside our elected offices.  If you have any questions or concerns, contact information is listed below.

Agenda and Minute Information

Prior to each meeting, agendas are available on-line.  Items are addressed in the order they appear on the agenda.  To have an item placed on the agenda, please submit it to the Clerk by Wednesday noon prior to the the board meeting.

The draft meeting minutes of the Littlefield Township Board of Trustees will be posted on our website as soon as they are available.  The minutes are generally approved at the following meeting. Minutes not on the website are available from the Clerk with the submission of a FOIA request.
